Villamartin Golf

• The Course and Facilities:

The Villamartin Golf Course, which was designed by Paul Putman, offers the discerning golfer 18 holes of a 72 par course, built within a lovely setting, with only a mile of the shore line between Torrevieja and Murcia. The fairly hilly course with the first 9 holes of the course built quite high up, offering views over to the Mediterranean sea. The last 9 holes are built within the valleys, with many of the areas ravines playing a major part of the course.

The course itself is actually quite difficult, due to the many trees surrounding the course and the sheer amount of water hazards, but these simply make the game more interesting.

• Area:

The area of Villamartin has attracted much interest and popularity over the years and is often regarded by many as one of the “finest” areas along the Costa Blanca. The Villamartin Plaza is close at hand, offering locals all possible amenities from bars, shops, restaurants banks and even a medical centre. Properties in this area are highly sought after, but many good deals are still to be had, with the area offering a huge variety of homes varying from one bed apartments to stunning 6 bed villas.
