Lo Romero Golf

• The Course and Facilities:

Lo Romero golf is a fairly new course that can be found between Pilar de la Horadada and Campoverde. Alhtough fairly new, this course is regarded by many locals as the best course on the Costa Blanca. Of all the courses in Costa Blanca, this course has been described as the “most natural” course in the region, using existing terrain, offering a huge variety of holes, dog-legs and steady elevation allowing each hole to be uniquely different. The course has 18 holes and has been assigned a par of 72. At present the course has a temporary Clubhouse, with practise facilities, and plans show the possibility of a hotel in the near future.

• The Area:

Pilar de la Horadada is the southern most located town on the Costa Blanca, from its beaches you can see as far as La Manga de Mar Menor. The waters in the area are considerably warmer than most areas, with stunning beaches. The area also pays host to a lovely port harbour. San Javier airport is a mere 15 minutes drive away, allowing expats to take full advantage of the close proximity of their favourite golf course to a nearby airport.
